I founded Color Counsel to be my antidote to the automated world of design. As a Designer, it is my responsibility to understand the human condition and design for what makes us unique. It is imperative that our build environments support our health and well-being. Design for humans, by humans.

Sustainability

Twenty years as a commercial interior designer, I see first hand how much waste the construction industry generates. It isn’t uncommon to install a complete design, only have it demolished and thrown in the trash a few years or even months later. This never sat well with me. When I founded Color Counsel, I wanted sustainability to be the cornerstone of this business. No single person can solve the climate crisis. However, if we all take small steps in our daily decisions, we can shape a better future.
